What Ethically Sourced Means For Us

When I started Emimoon, my number one priority was to be able to source ethical crystals for my customers. This was so so important to me, and little did I know at the time, that this would also

have been one of the hardest

(yet most rewarding) challenges of all.

Ethically and Consciously sourced crystals comes under a vast umbrella of different things! For me it means ensuring to the best of my ability that the crystals I source fall under the following standards:

 

* Zero child labour

* Fair Pay for everyone

* Safe Environment/High health and safety standards

* The wellness of the employees/Zero harm to people

* Mining Conditions

* Truthfulness between myself and my suppliers

* Transparency throughout the whole process

* Customer Service

* How the crystals are treated

* How they get to me

* War/Drug lord Mining

* Try to find smaller mines to ensure this is all achievable.

Its taken me three years to be able to locate a small handful of ethically sourced suppliers. Still to this day I continue to seek more growth within sourcing Crystals from around the world ethically and consciously.

This requires a lot of hard work and deep research, it takes hours/Days/Weeks/Months and years worth of conversations and the upmost trust in your sourcing Families, where we ensure employees are not only fairly paid but also treated humanely during the mining process. I have built some strong and open relationships with my small, family run suppliers and I feel confident that I have received truthful, and regular communication and documentation to ensure these ethics are met honestly.

All the crystals at Emimoon are mined by small local family's, many that have been mining for 100's of years, passed down through the generations. 

Crystal extraction/Carving is often the sole source of income in these small mining communities, where crystals are carefully mined with the love and with the care they truly deserve!

This also means that all energy and money exchanged in this process stays within the local communities of each location around the world, ensuring it can thrive. This means that the environment and the people working are respected and taken good care of at all times.

I have close connections with small mining families in Brazil, India, Madagascar, South Africa, Peru, Indonesia, Pakistan and Mexico.

So you can relax in the knowledge that you are purchasing with confidence.

Ethically Sourced doesn't just mean that ethics fall solely on our suppliers, I also ensure that I handle all of crystals I receive in the correct way on my end, it is just as important for me to handle them with the respect and love they deserve.

I pour positive energy into them when I receive them and this shows when my customers receive their beautiful new minerals. through the energy that they can feel.
